This year’s afternoon concert will take place on Thursday, July 9 at 2:00 PM at the wheelchair-accessible Lungsund Church.

The horn quartet QuadriCor appears as artists in residence of the Summermusic Lundsberg festival. The four young musicians present a diverse program featuring highlights of the horn ensemble repertoire.

The program includes well-known works and arrangements such as excerpts from Carmen and Der Freischütz, alongside contemporary pieces like Born for Horn. Spanning opera, Romantic repertoire, and modern compositions, the concert showcases the full expressive range of the horn.

Alongside their performances, the ensemble will use their residency to develop new repertoire and shape their program for the 2026–2027 season. Public insights into their workshop process may also be offered during the week.

The historic red wooden church of Lungsund, dating back to 1642 and beautifully situated between Lakes Lungen and Öjevettern, provides an atmospheric setting for this special concert.
