“One of my finest works,” declared the composer—and once again he was right: Robert Schumann’s Konzertstück for four horns makes full use of the possibilities of the valved horn, with virtuosic brilliance in the first movement, lush lyricism in the Romance, and a wild, galloping finale. We are very much looking forward to working with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt and to an unforgettable concert.
