The traditional “Family & Friends” concert will take place on Wednesday, July 8 at 7:00 PM at Lundsberg Church and, as always, offers a colorful and varied program.

This year’s edition features, among others, the acclaimed young Swiss violinist Colin Soldati, accompanied by Max Merazzi on piano. Poems about light by Rabindranath Tagore and Sri Aurobindo will be recited by Manob Tagore, a descendant of the Nobel laureate, together with Nivedita Parhi.

Also performing is the horn quartet QuadriCor, presenting both original works and masterpieces of the song repertoire, including Franz Schubert’s “Auf dem Strom” and Richard Strauss’ “Alphorn”. The result is a multifaceted evening combining instrumental music, voice, and literature.
