Martin Reiser, born in 2002 in Rosenheim, began his horn studies in 2021 with Christoph Eß at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg. He gained early professional experience as an intern with the Mainfrankentheater Würzburg in 2023, followed by an internship with the Göttinger Sinfonieorchester in 2024.

He is currently a member of the academy of the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg and regularly performs as a substitute with leading orchestras such as the BR Rundfunkorchester and the Bamberger Symphoniker.
In addition, he is a member of the Zukunftsorchester Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and performed with the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra in 2025.

Starting with the season 2026/27 Martin Reiser will be playing as low horn in the "Hofkappelle Meiningen"

He has appeared in major European concert venues including the KKL Luzern, the Berliner Philharmonie, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
